Five Farmers Receive Puppies

This week 5 farmers who were eagerly waiting Anatolian Livestock Guardian Dog puppies received them at last! The five puppies were born at the Cheetah Outreach Trust South Africa Irwin’s Guardian Stud a few months ago. The Irwin’s Guardian Stud is managed by Hannelie Liebenberg for Cheetah Outreach Trust SA and is supported by Wildlife Warriors , Toerbroers , Ultra Pet , Virbac South Africa Farm and Bravecto South Africa . These five puppies will grow up to guard their livestock against predation from cheetahs and other predators, making lethal control by the farmers obsolete. This will effectively secure cheetah tolerant habitat within the free-roaming cheetah range. We are very grateful to the individuals who sponsored these puppies for placement on the farms. Our field vehicle used to deliver the puppies to the farmers is maintained by Mitsi Tech Performance Gauteng .
